Making Greeting Cards From Old Paintings

Recently a friend asked to purchase some greeting cards. My stock was low so I decided to 'recycle' some old paintings and make new cards rather than start from scratch. I cut up the old paintings that I did not like into 4x6 inch sizes. I organized a 'kit' to have by my chair in the living room and I supplied it with the following to 'embellish' the 4x6 cards.
OHUHO water coloring brush pens. I buy a pack of 12 of various sizes. These are great for filling with 91% alcohol to blend the alcohol ink.
UNI POSCA pens - great for doodling. The ink stays put and they are easy to use on alcohol ink. I buy a 3 pack both in white and black.
Spectrum Noir alcohol ink pens. So easy to keep in my kit by my chair.
I purchase on Amazon or Cheap Joes Art Supply but there are many other great art suppliers. There are also other brands of pens but these are what I have used.
TIP: Never throw out paintings you do not like. They can be used for making greeting cards or collage. Here is a photo of one of the recycled art cards.
