ART FOR SANITY

I told my husband yesterday that I felt depressed because we can't go to the places we used to with the COVID situation. Although I do love being at home, I think it is that we no longer have the CHOICES we once had to go out to eat anywhere, visit with friends, see relatives, not have to wear a mask... on and on. Yesterday seemed like a really long day, I just couldn't focus on much so I read and napped. Do you have days like this?

Today I am creating a calendar for the things I need to do each day. I am retired now so I sometimes don't know what day it is let alone look at a calendar! BUT now that I have a blog and website I need to adhere to a calendar.

One of the things that I am going to put on my calendar are days and hours to do ART. When I do some art I feel so much better. SO, I am asking you to put some art, music or something fun you can do for yourself on your calendar. I prefer art or reading a book. You might want to take a long bath, give yourself a facial, take a long walk, talk on the phone with a friend, bake a cake or DO SOME ART.

On my pages you will find how to do art either alcohol ink or acrylic. Follow my instructions and get started. Contact me for any questions.

STAY SANE WITH ART
