While looking through christmas stuff my daughter found a styrofoam christmas tree I had intended to decorate but never did. She suggested it would look good on the dining table when decorated.
This little tree is only about a foot tall so I decided I needed smaller clear glass bulbs. They had to be inked with red, green and gold for the small tree. It has been a DIFFICULT creating project. Here are the difficulties
Red alcohol ink doesn't ever get thick or stay red in its color. I don't know why but it becomes almost pink when it dries.
I worked outside to enjoy the beautiful Florida weather. Unfortunately, a breeze blew about 5 bulbs to the ground and broke them.
Tiny bulbs are difficult to work with . I wired them to the styrofoam as I didnt want glue strings everywhere.
Step one is to Make the bulbs red, green and gold. I did this outside. I dripped alcohol ink inside the bulb and rolled it around. I also did some bulbs on the outside which look just as good.

STEP 2. Start gluing wire hooks for the bulbs onto the styrofoam tree.

FINAL result: This is additional bulbs and platinum garland glued or wired.
