OUR DEEPEST FEAR

Sometime when I start on a new project I automatically assume it will not succeed. Now how inspiring is that thought? Today I posted on my desk a poster with a quotation from Marianne Williamson.
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us".
So, what does this mean to you?
To me it means if I don't attempt to do something then I will fail before I even start.
It means every attempt to succeed requires a lot of work and it easier NOT to work hard.
It means just dream about it and MAYBE it will just happen.....ha, ha, ha.
I am very lucky to have a great marketing coach and manager who advises me on the steps involved to sell my art and art instruction. When she suggests things I need to do to promote my art business I think - wow she is really serious, maybe I really can do it. I am grateful to sarah@sailmktg.com for helping me to address my deepest fear - my own power.
